General Manufacturing

Tooling for every manufacturing process — turning, milling, drilling, grinding — from job shops to mid-volume production.

In One Sentence

Mazteknik supplies cutting tools, holders and technical hardware for turning, milling, drilling, grinding and marking — to job shops and mid-volume manufacturers across Turkey.

Who Asks for What in General Manufacturing?

Job shops (CNC turning, universal milling, column drilling) and mid-volume manufacturers (5-axis machining, fed CNC turning) have different needs. Mazteknik's general-manufacturing portfolio covers:

  • Standard turning tools — indexable inserts, brazed tools, profile tools
  • Milling tools — end mills, face mills, ball end mills
  • Drilling — HSS and carbide drills, countersinks, reamers
  • Threading — hand taps, machine taps, thread mills
  • Metrology — calipers, micrometers, comparators, presetters
  • Holders — BT/CAT/HSK tapers, ER collets, pull studs
  • Technical hardware — coolants, tool boxes, shop floor organizers

How Mazteknik Approaches General Manufacturing

Standard inventory ships same-day or next-day. Our Tool Regrinding service brings carbide tools that aren't economical to discard back to spec — typically a 25–40% reduction in annual tooling spend.

WhatsApp support is on for shop-scale urgent needs — call us even for a single tool.

Frequently Asked

I just bought a new machine — which tool kit do you recommend? Depends on the machine. For a CNC lathe: 3 insert kits (steel / stainless / aluminum) + ER collet system + digital micrometer. For a CNC mill: end mills (3 sizes) + ball end mill + face mill + tap set. Send us the make/model on WhatsApp and we'll suggest a starter kit.

HSS or carbide? HSS is still economical at low volume and for manual work. For CNC production, carbide is the clear choice. The up-front cost is higher but the cost-per-minute of cutting is far lower.

How does the Tool Regrinding service work? Send us your worn carbide end mills or drills. We measure the geometry on a Zoller Genius 3, regrind to the original spec, and optionally apply a TiAlN coating. Standard turnaround: 7–10 business days.
